Peace in the Valley

Day 4 on of our 5 day Tour du Mont Blanc hike, we set our course from the quaint La Fouly through the beautiful and quiet Champex Lac to Trient. The total hike would be 20.45 miles. About 3 hours into our hike, we crest a hill in a very small town with cute homes and free-standing refuge and cafe and this wide-open field overlooking a valley adorned with a cross.
