Passo Giau was an incredible hike start to finish. The majestic jagged mountains and steep cliffs were paired perfectly with vibrant blue skies and a cool breeze. At the bottom of this hike, we stopped in one of the more robust refugios for a celebratory beverage. Mary and I enjoyed a glass of Prosecco, while the guys opted for a cold beer. We all indulged in a gluwine (hot mulled red wine) and a hot chocolate!
